In October 2002, Adidas invited Yoji Yamamoto, the designer of Yohji Yamamoto, as Y-3 creative director, and announced "Y-3" in Paris.
Adding a unique taste created by Yohji Yamamoto to Adidas' trademark three-line arrangement, pattern, and color usage, it expresses trends, highly fashionable sportswear, and modern sports styles.
While incorporating Yohji Yamamoto's spacious sense of volume and black-based design, we develop casual tailoring and street-like appearance using active and functional materials.
